When illness, age or limited mobility makes someone dependent on others, bathing can become physically and emotionally exhausting for both patient and family.

Lifting an adult body, managing odour, continence and hygiene — on top of work, sleep and daily life — means care often becomes a diaper change or simple wipe-down.

Not because the family cares less, but because caring has become heavy. Over time, discomfort, embarrassment and exhaustion can affect dignity and strain the relationship between patient and caregiver.

This is not an easy job but someone has to do it. The biggest achievement is actually seeing someone turning from an unpleasant state into a fresher & cleaner moment, where she gets to feel like herself again.
