Measure across the fullest part of the chest, under the arms and straight across the back.

Yes. The open shoulder and arm design keeps your hands free and makes it easier to apply lotion, body oil, deodorant and other after-shower care without getting fully dressed first.

Is the strap adjustable?

Yes, the straps are adjustable so you can change how high or low the towel dress sits on your body. The fit is intentionally relaxed rather than shaped like a fitted dress.
